sold out

This is a genuine, de-commissioned “20” mph Road Sign hand-painted in the colours of the 2005 Renault R25 and Fernando Alonso’s helmet and then aged to show some of the original colours and reflective parts of the original road sign underneath.

It measures approx. 24 inches / 60cm round.

The Renault R25 won both the Driver’s and Constructor’s Championships in 2005. The livery of the car was based on the “Mild Seven” Japanese brand of cigarettes colour scheme and logos, with the logo’s being replaced with flowers, flames graphics and tribal art in the countries that had a ban on tobacco advertising.

This was Alonso’s first Driver’s Championship title. His helmet was light blue and had the Spanish flag surrounding it from the front to the back as a straight band.
